How Much Does a Dance Floor Wrap Cost in Chicago? (2026 Prices)
Updated October 13, 2026
A custom dance floor monogram in Chicago costs about $295 to $950 in 2026, depending on size, plus installation. A full edge-to-edge floor wrap typically costs $1,000 to $2,500 for a standard 16 × 16 ft floor. Here’s what goes into the price, and how to avoid paying for more than you need.
Typical prices by size
These are our own prices, which include design, a proof, printing and anti-slip laminate. Installation and removal are extra and quoted for your venue:
| Size | Good for | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 4 ft round monogram | Floors up to 12 × 12 ft, about 80 guests | $295 |
| 6 × 6 ft | 16 × 16 ft floors, 100–150 guests | $349 |
| 8 × 8 ft | 18–20 ft floors, 150–200 guests | $499 |
| 10 × 10 ft | Large ballrooms | $649 |
| 12 × 12 ft | Large ballrooms, 250+ guests | $849 |
| Full wrap | Any floor, edge to edge | $5 per sq ft |
Other Chicago-area installers who publish prices charge in a similar range, roughly $350 for a 6 × 6 ft decal up to around $950 for 12 × 12 ft. Many decor companies only quote on request.
What changes the price
Size. Material and labor scale with square footage, which is why a full wrap costs more than a centered monogram.
Travel. Most installers include travel up to a set distance and charge beyond it. We include up to 25 miles from Chicago, then $100 for 26–50 miles and $200 for 51–100.
Installation and removal. Some companies include them, others charge separately. We quote installation and removal for your venue and timing, so you know the full cost up front.
Rush. If your event is less than a week away, expect a rush fee, typically around 25%.
Design. A simple monogram is usually included. Custom illustrations or matching a professional designer’s files can add cost at some shops.
Monogram or full wrap?
A monogram gives you the photo moment — the overhead shot of your first dance — for a fraction of the price of a full wrap. A full wrap makes sense when you want to change the color of the whole floor (white or black), match a theme, or cover a worn floor at an older venue.
