What makes a good photo
For a person cutout, use a sharp, full-length photo taken in good light, at least 2,000 pixels tall. Phone photos are fine. We’ll remove the background and clean up the edges as part of the proof.
For characters and logos, the original artwork file works best. If you only have a small image, send it anyway and we’ll tell you honestly how it will look at size.
Questions people ask
Can you print a picture of a real person?
Yes, of anyone who’s given permission — the birthday kid, the graduate, the couple. We can’t print celebrities or copyrighted characters without the rights holder’s permission.
Are they sturdy enough for a party?
Yes. Rigid foam is light but stiff, and the stand keeps it upright. Keep them away from a pool or sprinklers.
Can they be shipped?
Large cutouts are bulky and expensive to ship, so we offer them in Chicagoland only, with pickup or delivery.
